Introduction
Benign prostate hypertrophy, or BPH, is the most common benign disease of older men. Prostate cancer is the most common male cancer and prostatitis is a very common infection. Because of the frequency of these prostatic diseases, almost all men will be faced with some prostatic condition during their lifetime.
Despite the prevalence of prostate disease, controversy abounds over the diagnosis and treatment of prostatic disorders. The purpose of this course is tried to bring order and perspective to what is, at times, the very confusing subject of prostate disorder.
